In 1986, Trevor Berbick was the time served pro who had just won the WBC heavyweight title and Mike Tyson was the 20 year old street fighter pulverizing everyone in his path. Even though he was the defending champion, 32 year old Birbeck was the underdog. And the bookies called it right, before the end of round 2 the older man was down and, though he tried, just couldn't get back up. Tyson's savage reign had begun.
